The defending champions, Ratnagiri Jets, after a shaky start to the season, losing three consecutive matches while bowling first—including a seven-wicket defeat to the Kolhapur Tuskers—are now back in the groove with two consecutive wins.

In their last outing against the Raigad Royals, the Jets, batting first, posted a formidable total of 187/4 in their allotted 20 overs. Their openers, Atharva Dharmadhikari (23 runs) and Dhiraj Phatangare (57 runs), provided a solid foundation, adding 60 runs for the first wicket in just 6.3 overs. Skipper Azim Kazi then stepped up to the plate with a match-winning half-century (72 runs off 38 balls), which propelled his team to a challenging score.

In the second innings, the Jets were on the money with the ball from the very first over. Pradeep Dadhe provided the initial breakthrough in the second over, and from then on, it was a steady stream of wickets, as the Jets kept chipping away at the opposition. Satyajeet Bachhav was the pick of the bowlers with impressive figures of 3/17, while Dadhe, Chormale, and Gawade each bagged two wickets.

The Kolhapur Tuskers, after a flying start to their tournament with a dominant seven-wicket victory over the Ratnagiri Jets, where they successfully chased down 174 runs in 18.4 overs, have since stumbled, losing their next two matches: by four wickets against the Eagle Nashik Titans and by seven runs against the Satara Warriors.

In their last outing against the Puneri Bappa, the Tuskers were in a commanding position, having their opponents under the pump while bowling first. The Bappa's score stood at 129/3 in 16 overs before rain played spoilsport and forced the match to be abandoned. Deepak Dangi was the star with the ball, returning figures of 2/28.
